Georgia Tech vs. UNC Information

Georgia Tech will play the University of North Carolina on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 4:00 p.m. Please note:

• Because most of the tenants in the chapter house are still GDIs, there is NO FOOTBALL PARKING behind the house this year. The people paying rent expect access in and out of the lot without being blocked by alumni vehicles. As an alternative, consider parking in the Centergy deck across 5th Avenue (see below). It is a short walk to the chapter house, and a parking permit can be purchased in advance at: https://goo.gl/onWdeV
• Lunch at the house will be catered by Chef’s Menu, beginning at 2:00 p.m. The menu is barbecue, macaroni & cheese, and brownies. Water and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.
• Adult beverages are BYOB. Please note that adult beverages must remain under the control of the people that bring them. Because most of the people living in the house are not associated with the fraternity in any way, we cannot leave alcohol openly accessible before or during the game.

One of the least expensive and most accessible parking lots is at the Centergy “C” deck, which always has space available on game day. It is a 5-minute walk from the deck to the chapter house. From I-75, exit at 10th Street, head east, turn south on Spring Street, make a right turn at 5th Street, then turn right on Williams Street. Look for the C deck signs.
